Recently, Jiuwu Hi-tech has demonstrated outstanding performance in the Inner Mongolia Ordos Zhongmei 26,000 tons/day mine water project of Jinyuan Environment, thanks to its excellent product performance and professional technical services. It completed various tasks including project production, delivery, installation, etc., within just three months, with excellent water quality, earning the "2024 Excellent Supplier" award from Jinyuan Environment.
The second phase of the Inner Mongolia Ordos Zhongmei 26,000 tons/day mine water desalination treatment project adopts the "ceramic ultrafiltration + reverse osmosis" process membrane deep treatment technology. The product water meets the Class III water quality standard in the "Surface Water Environment Quality Standard" (GB3838-2002), with the total dissolved solids in the product water being less than 100mg/L. The treated water can be used for municipal, landscape, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Mine water treatment is a focal and challenging aspect of mining environmental protection, facing multiple challenges such as high water quality requirements, large treatment volumes, and high recovery rates. Currently, the reuse of mine water mostly uses the "ultrafiltration + reverse osmosis" process. As early as 2022, Jiuwu Hi-tech conducted experiments on mine water with different water qualities in the northwest mining area. Relying on its independently developed high-loading ceramic membrane technology, it matched suitable treatment processes and design schemes. This technological breakthrough not only provides new ideas and methods for solving industry problems but also breaks the application limitations of traditional processes.
As an important coal-producing area in China, Ordos, with its huge mine water discharge volume, aims to solve the efficient treatment and resource utilization of local coal mine water through this project. By deeply treating mine water, it aims to achieve "turning waste into treasure", providing a stable water source for coal chemical production, ecological replenishment, and more, while responding to the national "dual carbon" strategy and the ecological protection requirements of the Yellow River Basin.
In 2024, as the general contractor for the Inner Mongolia Ordos Zhongmei 26,000 tons/day mine water project, Jinyuan Environment proactively contacted Jiuwu Hi-tech to complete the mine water treatment project. Jiuwu Hi-tech, after receiving the task, completed various tasks including project production, product delivery, installation, commissioning, operation, etc., within about three months. This efficient project execution capability fully demonstrated the company's strong strength in mine water treatment projects, setting an example of efficient delivery for the industry.
During the project operation, Jiuwu Hi-tech adhered to the concept of making "good membranes" and "using good membranes". The technical personnel from the membrane materials division went deep into the site, quickly and efficiently solving various problems and emergencies raised by customers with solid technical capabilities and an enterprising attitude.
After long-term testing and operation, its high-loading columnar ceramic membrane produced excellent water quality, with an SDI of less than 3, turbidity of less than 0.1 NTU, and a water recovery rate of greater than 92% (overall recovery rate >98%), fully meeting the stringent treatment requirements of the mining industry, earning high recognition from customers and various parties. As a result, it was awarded the "2024 Excellent Supplier" award by the customer.
In April 2025, Jiuwu Hi-tech once again successfully won the bid for a 13,440 tons/day mine water treatment project in Zhongtian Hechuang, Ordos, Inner Mongolia, achieving a repurchase of domestic high-loading ceramic membranes in the mine water field. Since 2023, the company has successfully implemented multiple 10,000-ton-level mine water projects in Inner Mongolia, further consolidating its leading position in the field of mine water treatment.
In the future, Jiuwu Hi-tech will fully leverage its advantages, achieve resource sharing, complementary strengths, and jointly promote the development of the environmental protection industry.
