Congratulations on JIUWU HI-TECH Wastewater Zero Liquid Discharge Technology Winning the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation

In order to encourage innovation, commend the advanced, and give full play to the support and leading role of scientific and technological innovation in the development of the industry, the awarding ceremony of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation Science and Technology Awards was held in Beijing on December 3, 2018. The ceremony was presided over by Zhou Zhuye, vice chairman of China Petrochemical Federation, Academician Zhou Shouwei, vice chairman of China Association for Science and Technology, and Academician Fei Weiyang of Tsinghua University, and more than 500 representatives attended the ceremony.

The Membrane Preparation, Integration Technology and Application Project for Zero Liquid Discharge(ZLD) of Pulping Wastewater, which was jointly completed by JIUWU HI-TECH and other units, won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. The conference commended the achievements of scientific and technological progress.

At the awarding ceremony, Gu Xiulian, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the 10th National People's Congress, expressed her hope that the majority of science and technology workers should thoroughly understand the new requirements of science and technology innovation in the new era, and take the overall plan to plan scientific and technological innovation and shoulder heavy burdens. She also put forward specific requirements for the scientific and technological innovation work of the Petrochemical Federation. It is necessary to give play to the role of organization guidance and encouragement, further strengthen the organization and coordination of key common technology research, transformation and transfer of scientific and technological achievements, and play an important role in the organization and guiding of scientific and technological innovation in the industry.
