  • Using ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis technology for drug refining and concentration, extracting effective ingredients, and isolating active compounds.

  • Separating and concentrating products from fermentation or reaction liquids.

  • Immobilizing enzymes or microorganisms on the membrane surface to enable their biological functions while using membrane separation to isolate useful microorganisms, allowing for continuous enzymatic reactions and separation processes.

Future Development Trends of Jiuwu Ceramic Membranes


Jiuwu ceramic membranes will focus on developing long-lasting, high-flow, highly reliable, and multifunctional ceramic membrane materials. There will also be an emphasis on tackling key core technologies in the ceramic membrane materials industry to scale up production, reduce costs of membrane materials and supporting equipment, and develop operational solutions suitable for ceramic membranes to further reduce operational costs.


The company will focus on water treatment and energy-saving environmental protection fields, including rural wastewater treatment, medical wastewater treatment, distributed water supply, park water treatment, black and odorous water body treatment, and tap water systems. Research in these application areas will help achieve the expansion of membrane modules, membrane equipment, and membrane systems.


Surface modification, loading, and other techniques will be used to enable coupling with other functions. For example, based on the high separation efficiency and anti-fouling properties of ceramic membranes, the company will explore their coupling with photocatalysis and advanced oxidation technologies. Membranes will be made from catalytic materials, using the surface catalysts' high catalytic activity and hydrophilicity to remove pollutants.


Strengthening technical communication within the industry, advocating for complementarity, collaboration, and win-win outcomes will be key to avoiding vicious competition. At the same time, the industry will be led by Jiuwu to enhance the quality of ceramic membrane products.
