Customized Technological Breakthroughs Refresh Energy Efficiency Benchmarks in Lithium Extraction from Salt Lakes
This meeting comprehensively summarized the various achievements of the project's commissioning and operation in 2025, systematically deployed subsequent development plans, and commended the cooperative units that worked together to overcome difficulties and made outstanding contributions in the project's advancement.
As a key partner of Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Co.,Ltd, Jiuwu Hi-Tech deeply participated in the entire process of project construction and operation, focusing on key aspects of lithium extraction from salt lakes. We customized and developed high-performance adsorbents adapted to the "continuous ion exchange moving bed + membrane coupling" process for the project. We participated in the entire process of project technical research and development, and on-site debugging. From laboratory pilot tests to industrial applications, we worked closely with the Salt Lake Lithium Battery team, leveraging high-quality products and full-process services to ensure the smooth advancement of the project. We not only achieved the remarkable results of bringing the 40,000-ton project into production ahead of schedule with immediate capacity attainment, but also set an industry benchmark with a comprehensive lithium recovery rate of 82.4% and an overall energy consumption reduction of 50.67%. This provided a solid guarantee for the successful achievement of the annual operational targets.
Frontline commitment and Empowerment Drive Actual Production Capacity Exceeding Targets
After the project's successful commissioning, Jiuwu Hi-Tech's R&D engineers did not step back from their critical tasks. Instead, they continued to stay at the production site, steadfastly holding their front-line posts. Working side by side with the customer's team, they collaborated deeply to fully support the customer's critical production phase of "Battle for the Fourth Quarter".
To promote the efficient release of project capacity and ensure stable production operation, the R&D engineers closely monitored every detail of equipment operation and monitored various data indicators of the entire production process in real time. Even when faced with various unexpected problems during on-site commissioning, they communicated and jointly analyzed with the customer's technical and production teams in real time. Through repeated simulations and demonstrations, they optimized the commissioning plan and refined and dynamically adjusted operating parameters for key aspects such as process adaptation, equipment linkage, and operating condition adjustment. With professional technical expertise and a meticulous work attitude, they continued to exert efforts on the road to improving production capacity.
Through the concerted collaboration and relentless efforts of both parties, the project's production efficiency has steadily improved, and output has increased steadily. In November, lithium carbonate production successfully exceeded 1,700 tons, not only exceeding the monthly production plan by 113%, but also achieving a 4% month-on-month increase. These solid production results demonstrate Jiuwu Hi-Tech's strong technical capabilities and efficient on-site technical service support.
