Jiuwu Hi-Tech Participates in the Shanghai International Starch Expo 2026

On June 15, the 20th Shanghai International Starch and Starch Derivatives Exhibition (Starch Expo 2026) opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Jiuwu Hi-Tech, the pioneer of China's ceramic membrane technology, made a major appearance with its full-scenario membrane separation solutions, comprehensively demonstrating to the industry how membrane technology precisely addresses pain points and injects strong momentum into the green and high-quality development of dairy deep processing, bio-fermentation, plant extraction, and beer brewing.

Walking into Jiuwu Hi-Tech's booth, a full range of membrane products was on display, including tubular ceramic membranes, high-packing column ceramic membranes, as well as hollow fiber membranes, spiral-wound membranes, and sintered tubular membranes. With core advantages such as acid and alkali resistance, anti-fouling capability, high-precision separation, and long service life, these products have completely subverted traditional processes such as plate and frame filtration, centrifugation, and evaporation, driving the starch industry to achieve a leapfrog upgrade from "coarse filtration" to "molecular-level precision separation."

At the exhibition, Jiuwu Hi-Tech's professional engineering team, focusing on the pain points of starch deep processing, presented to visiting customers a full range of mature, implemented cases of membrane technology in multiple specialized fields, reshaping the industrial value chain through the dual-wheel drive model of "new materials + integrated solutions."

At the dairy deep processing section, Jiuwu Hi-Tech's staff introduced that this technology uses ceramic membranes for physical sterilization at room temperature. It can not only efficiently retain microorganisms and spores, but also completely avoid the protein thermal denaturation caused by traditional high-temperature processes, perfectly locking in natural flavor and active ingredients such as lactoferrin. Through on-site process diagrams and data comparisons, the audience could clearly see that this technology not only achieves efficient purification and concentration of casein and whey protein, significantly improving protein quality, but also reduces overall energy consumption by more than 50%. This solution, which balances high added value and green upgrading, drew frequent nods from dairy enterprise representatives at the scene, who came forward one after another to request detailed information.

To Address the industry pain point of fermentation broth separation and purification, Jiuwu Hi-Tech highlighted its most reliable combined process — "microfiltration for impurity removal + nanofiltration for desalination and concentration." On-site technical staff at the booth explained how this process, through synergistic action, precisely removes complex impurities from fermentation broth and efficiently completes desalination and concentration. This stable and efficient separation and purification solution not only significantly improves product purity and yield, but also substantially reduces production costs and energy consumption.

In the plant extraction and traditional Chinese medicine refining section, Jiuwu Hi-Tech introduced its integrated "microfiltration – ultrafiltration – nanofiltration – reverse osmosis" membrane integration technology. Compared with traditional processes, this technology can increase the extraction rate by 30%, shorten the extraction and purification time by 60%, control product loss rate within 1%, and reduce overall costs by 50%. By achieving molecular-level precision separation of target components, this process effectively retains macromolecular impurities while efficiently concentrating small-molecule substances. After learning the details, many customers expressed that this technology truly drives the industry's transformation toward green and precision manufacturing, calling it a "powerful tool" for solving the traditional pain point of high loss rates.

In the beer brewing and food purification section, Jiuwu Hi-Tech's membrane separation technology also shone brightly. For flavor-sensitive products such as craft beer, low-temperature juices, non-alcoholic beer, and sake, the booth highlighted its outstanding performance in yeast recovery — with a yeast cell retention rate of > 99.9%. Through precise separation, this technology not only avoids the flavor damage caused by traditional high-temperature processes, but also controls bitterness value fluctuations within a very narrow range, effectively extending product shelf life. In addition, in the application of condiment processing, the room-temperature physical sterilization achieved by high-performance ceramic membranes makes products clear and bright, with no precipitation even after long-term storage, while significantly reducing solid waste emissions.

Consistently, Jiuwu Hi-Tech has always adhered to the mission of "making industry more efficient and life healthier," and has kept pace with national policies and industry development trends. Its participation in the 20th Shanghai International Starch Expo is not only a concentrated review of Jiuwu Hi-Tech's core technological strength, but also a vivid practice of its commitment to promoting integrated and innovative development in the starch industry.

During the concurrent World Starch Industry Conference and related forums held alongside the exhibition, Jiuwu Hi-Tech also engaged in in-depth exchanges with top domestic and international experts, jointly exploring innovative applications of starch in fields such as health and nutrition. In the future, Jiuwu Hi-Tech will continue to be market-oriented, adhere to technological innovation, and contribute more "Chinese wisdom" and "Chinese solutions" to the green and low-carbon transformation of the global starch and deep-processing industry.
